This policy explains how PMI Experts, a trading style of Nesto Mortgages Ltd (company number 14964264, registered office Grove Chambers, Basecamp, 36 Green Lane, Wilmslow SK9 1LD) ("we", "us"), collects and uses personal data when you use https://pmiexperts.co.uk. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Enquiry data. If you request a quote or ask to be introduced to an adviser, we collect the details you provide — typically name, contact details, age and information about the cover you want.
- Correspondence. Emails you send to hello@pmiexperts.co.uk.
- Analytics data. Only if you consent via our cookie banner: anonymised usage data (pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type) via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
How we use it
- To pass your enquiry to an independently FCA-authorised adviser so they can contact you about the cover you asked about (legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interest in operating an introduction service).
- To respond to correspondence (legitimate interest).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (consent, via the cookie banner).
Who we share it with
Enquiry data is shared only with the adviser firm we introduce you to, who becomes an independent controller of your data and will provide you their own privacy information. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Email correspondence is reviewed and deleted on the same cycle. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics settings (14 months).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data; you can object to or ask us to restrict processing; and where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@pmiexperts.co.uk to exercise any right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
